Ver. MA – the short form of Version MA, but what makes the version special?
In 2006, at the moment I submitted my Wing Gundam, I was requested to fill in a form, writing down the name of my work as well as describing it. I had no idea at all that time, but I knew this Wing Gundam was unique, created with my own style. Therefore, I used my family name - MA, featuring the work. During the days, my friends usually told me they could easily recognize my works without looking at the name tag in advance. Yet, only the works with certain “requirements” would be named as Ver. MA, that is why totally only six of them as of today! With my exploration and experience, I could tell that Ver. MA is not only a specific style in terms of modeling, modifying and painting skills, but also consistent with the concept of Model Attempt.
